Can we apply for more than base funding?

Applicants can apply for CivicSpatial funding above the base funding provided for in the program. Special initiative that are undertaken in high-priority areas identified by ICIS may receive additional funding depending the nature of the project. Projects that show a significant improvement in a larger number of parcels for the grant issued will be most successful.

Special project grants are evaluated on an individual basis by the Grant Committee and must have final approval of the ICIS Executive Committee (base grants only need Grant Committee approval).

It is important to note that the CivicSpatial grant program is run on a first-come-first-serve basis and funding is limited.
